Valedictory Function of Orthodox Christian Nurture Program (B10L2) Held on October 8, 2025
New Delhi: The valedictory function of the Orthodox Christian Nurture (OCN) Course B10L2 was held on October 8, 2025, marking the successful completion of the program.
The function began with a welcome address by Rev. Fr. Jom Thomas and the felicitation was delivered by Rev. Fr. Dr. Philip Kuruvilla, who commended the efforts of the participants and organisers in making the course a success. Participants from various parts of the world shared their reflections on the course. Joseph K Joseph (Kuala Lumpur), Cinil Elizabeth (Dubai), Lali Daniel (Kerala), and Shalini Thomas (Dubai) spoke about their personal experiences and spiritual growth during the program. Rev. Fr. Shaji Mathews, Vicar of St. Mary Orthodox Church, Hauz Khas offered a word of appreciation, representing the Diocese of Delhi. He acknowledged the dedication of the faculty and students and encouraged continued engagement in theological education.
A course review was presented by Mr. Jacob P. Varghese, who highlighted the structure, content, and outcomes of the program. The session concluded with a closing prayer led by Fr. Jobby Peter, bringing a solemn and thankful end to the proceedings. The event was anchored by Ms. Sharon Sunil Samuel, who guided the program with grace and clarity.
