St. Gregorios Mission School at Sagar is a unique initiative of Bhilai St Thomas Mission as provides quality education to the underprivileged sections of the society with modern technology and teaching aids. Tuition is completely free in English medium as well. The school started with 10 students on April 3, 2013 and now has 107 students. The school operates on Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 12 noon. There are 5 teachers and the priest serves as the head teacher. Regular academic and extra-curricular activities provide exemplary care to mold young children into the best. Rev Fr Saju Philip started the Sagar mission. Rev Fr Mathew M Mathew, Rev Fr Liju K Ponnachan and Rev Fr Anish Joseph Varghese completed the construction of the school building. Afterwards Rev Fr Abraham Thomas started a project called MANNA in the name of Sagar Mar Gregorios Parish to provide nutritional food to the children in the school and its expenses are met from his own salary. Sagar Mission is growing rapidly today. Now Rev Fr Jobin P Abraham is the Sagar Mission Manager and School Principal.
