SAMARTH, JAGADALPUR, BASTAR
An After-School-Care project for the students of Government School, Dharampura Jagdalpur was inaugurated on 1st November, 2015. for its mission work to teach English & Computers to the students of this school. The aim of our mission work is to make every child from the rural and backward areas skilled enough to strive in the Technology driven world. The students are given remedial classes. They are also given training in Computers and spoken English.
Mrs. Rubaida Khatun serves as the trainer under the guidance of Fr. K.I. Varghese. The Trainer visited the house of every student and tried to convince their parents about the importance of English and the use of Computers in their life and how it is necessary to progress. It was a tough job to convince the parents because students, after their School hours used to go along with their parents for labour work and helped them in earning their livelihood.
