ONE-DAY CONFERENCE OF SUNDAY SCHOOL DISTRICT TEACHER’S HELD AT NAGPUR

Nagpur: The Nagpur District Sunday School of the Calcutta Diocese, organized a One-Day District Teacher’s Conference at the St. George Orthodox Cathedral, Nagpur. The conference, which brought together teachers from across the district, commenced with a prayer led by Rev. Fr. B. M Thomas, followed by the lighting of the lamp by dignitaries. Mrs. Aleyamma Babu, District Inspector, delivered the welcome address, while Rev. Fr. Joji Rajan gave the felicitation address. Rev. Fr. Jom Thomas, President of the Nagpur District, delivered the presidential address. A training session was conducted by Rev. Fr. B.M. Thomas from STOTS, which provided practical strategies for teachers to implement in their classrooms. During the business session, attendees participated in critical discussions, including the election of a new District Secretary. Mrs. Betsy Shijo was unanimously elected to the position. Reports from various Sunday schools were presented during the session, represented by Mrs. Agatha Wilson (Chandrapur), Mrs. Betsy Shijo (Bandara), and Mrs. Jolly Abraham (Nagpur). The conference concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the District Secretary.
