Olive – Malankara Orthodox Children of the Ordained
OLIVE is the fellowship for the children of ordained clergy in the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. Under the presidentship of H.G. Alexios Mar Eusebius Metropolitan, Rev. Fr. Aswin John serves as the Vice- President of the Olive – Malankara Orthodox Children of the Ordained of Calcutta Diocese.
OLIVE seeks to nurture a Christ-centered identity among the children of priests and deacons, helping them grow in faith, fellowship, and community.
Guided by the wisdom of the Church and supported by the pastoral care, OLIVE provides a sacred space where children of the ordained can come together, share their unique experiences, and be strengthened in their spiritual journey. OLIVE fosters a sense of belonging and purpose rooted in the Orthodox tradition.
Our mission is to inspire, equip, and empower the next generation of Orthodox faithful, helping them live as faithful witnesses of Christ while honoring the legacy of their parents’ sacred calling.
Together, as a united family, we walk in love, humility, and holiness — growing into the likeness of Christ, the true Vine, from whom all life flows.
