MUKTHI – A Fight Against Drugs by OCYM CALCUTTA DIOCESE

On 5th October 2025, OCYM Calcutta Diocese, in collaboration with OSSAE OKR Calcutta Diocese, launched the second phase of its Mukthi Initiative—a powerful anti-drug awareness campaign. The initiative, which began after the Holy Qurbana at various parishes, brought together Sunday school students and youth to take a pledge to say “No” to drugs and “Yes” to dreams. Through interactive sessions, the movement aims to combat addiction and build a brighter future. The official inauguration of the drive was held at Bhopal St. Thomas Orthodox Cathedral. MGOYM Bhopal members & Sunday School students signed their solidarity to a drug abuse free healthy society. Various units under the aegis of Calcutta Diocese has enacted the Mukthi Anti Drugs Initiative 2nd phase.
