Interschool MGM Fest 2025: A Grand Opening Fosters Talent and Togetherness
Rourkela: The inaugural day of the much-anticipated Interschool MGM Fest 2025 unfolded with fervor and excitement as students from 30 schools came together to showcase their diverse talents and competitive spirit. Organized meticulously, the fest welcomed a total of 1,753 participants, with 820 students physically present on campus, making it a vibrant and lively event. The ceremony was honored by the presence of eminent dignitaries who lent their support and inspiration. Dr. Godwin Daniel Athishtam, Secretary of CISCE, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and lit the torch lamp. The fest also welcomed the Diocesan Education Officer Rev. Fr. Reji C. Varghese, who hoisted the fest flag and delivered an encouraging speech that motivated both participants and organizers, Guest of Honour, Fr. Kurien Abraham, Mr. Shibam Mishra, who took the oath, Fr. Vijay, Mrs. Ancy Varghese (Principal, MGM Public School, Bhilai), along with the school’s Principal, Rev. Fr. Dr. George C. Varughese, and Dn. Robin Alex, Administrator in-charge of MGM School Chhend. Their collective presence underscored the educational significance and communal harmony that the fest represents. Participants engaged enthusiastically in a variety of events spanning cultural performances and sports competitions. The fest’s inclusive format allowed participation across different modes, demonstrating adaptability and reach. The first day of the MGM Fest was not only a platform for competition but also a celebration of youthful energy, creativity, and the spirit of sportsmanship.
