𝐁𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐚𝐥: A special get-together of the St. Joseph Orthodox Senior Citizen Forum and Marth Mariam Samajam was held at St. Thomas Orthodox Cathedral, Bhopal. Rev. Fr. Dr. Varghese Varghese (Kottayam), Director General of OSSAE, led the session. The event was also attended by Rev. Fr. Shaji Joshua (Vicar, Mar Gregorios Orthodox Church, Kolar), Rev. Fr. Cijo Chacko (Principal, MGM School, Bhopal), and Rev. Dr. Reni Mudampally (Syro-Malankara Catholic Church). The program was coordinated by Fr. M.J. Mathew (Vicar), Fr. Jijin Sam James (Assistant Vicar), and the Managing Committee. The gathering included prayers, talks, and fellowship, bringing together the senior members and women of the church for a meaningful time of spiritual growth and community bonding.

We are delighted to announce that the St. Thomas Mission Bhilai of the Malankara Orthodox Church has successfully concluded the final round of discussions to officially take over the renowned Centre of Daya Bai located in Harrai, Chhindwara District of Madhya Pradesh.

The Bhilai Mission intends to transform this centre into the Daya Bai Centre for Tribal Culture Studies. The vision of this initiative is to preserve and promote the indigenous culture of the tribal communities in and around the region, celebrating their agricultural practices, traditions, lifestyle, cuisine, attire and other cultural expressions. These rich traditions form a vital part of our collective heritage. By protecting and promoting them, we contribute not only to cultural continuity but also to sustainable community development.

We are grateful for this significant opportunity to build upon the legacy of Daya Bai. The Bhilai Mission is committed to taking all necessary steps to develop the centre into a vibrant hub of cultural learning, ensuring that the tribal heritage of the region is preserved, respected and celebrated for generations to come.

SMT Endowment Fund സമാഹരണ പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം Mr. J. Samuel (Tatibandh,Raipur) നിന്നും ഫണ്ട് സ്വീകരിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് അഭിവന്ദ്യ തിരുമേനി നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു.

പുണ്യശ്ലോകനായ സ്തേഫാനോസ് മാർ തേവോദോസിയോസ് തിരുമേനിയുടെ ജന്മശതാബ്ദി സ്മാരക പദ്ധതിയായ ടെയ്ലറിങ് സെന്റർ 2025 ഒക്ടോബർ 12-ന് അഭി. അലക്സിയോസ് മാർ യൗസേബിയോസ് മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്ത ഉദ്‌ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു.

Nagpur : Jennifer Varghese, proud member of St. George Orthodox Cathedral, Nagpur, has made India shine on the global stage by winning the WTT Under-17 Youth Singles Gold Medal at the WTT Youth Contender Perth, Australia (Oct 2025).

H. G. Alexios Mar Eusebius Metropolitan congratulated Jennifer for her outstanding achievement, praising her talent, hard work, and dedication. Thirumeni noted that her continued success brings immense pride not only to the nation but also to the Malankara Orthodox Church.

Jennifer’s consistent victories in international and national championships reflect her passion and determination. She continues to inspire young talents across India to dream big and aim high.

Valedictory Function of Orthodox Christian Nurture Program (B10L2) Held on October 8, 2025

New Delhi: The valedictory function of the Orthodox Christian Nurture (OCN) Course B10L2 was held on October 8, 2025, marking the successful completion of the program.

The function began with a welcome address by Rev. Fr. Jom Thomas and the felicitation was delivered by Rev. Fr. Dr. Philip Kuruvilla, who commended the efforts of the participants and organisers in making the course a success. Participants from various parts of the world shared their reflections on the course. Joseph K Joseph (Kuala Lumpur), Cinil Elizabeth (Dubai), Lali Daniel (Kerala), and Shalini Thomas (Dubai) spoke about their personal experiences and spiritual growth during the program. Rev. Fr. Shaji Mathews, Vicar of St. Mary Orthodox Church, Hauz Khas offered a word of appreciation, representing the Diocese of Delhi. He acknowledged the dedication of the faculty and students and encouraged continued engagement in theological education.

A course review was presented by Mr. Jacob P. Varghese, who highlighted the structure, content, and outcomes of the program. The session concluded with a closing prayer led by Fr. Jobby Peter, bringing a solemn and thankful end to the proceedings. The event was anchored by Ms. Sharon Sunil Samuel, who guided the program with grace and clarity. The organisers extended their congratulations to all participants and expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in the success of the course.

OVBS Concludes at St. Stephens Orthodox Church, Ranchi

Ranchi: The OVBS 2025 was joyfully conducted at St. Stephens Orthodox Church, Ranchi, from October 1 to 5. OVBS brought together a total of 30 students and 14 dedicated teachers, with enthusiastic participation from members of the Orthodox, Marthoma, and Catholic Churches. The OVBS was led by Dn. Solamen K. Mony. The concluding day began with the celebration of the Holy Qurbana followed by the OVBS Rally. Students from various groups presented a colorful array of performances including dance songs and a skit in the valedictory function. The valedictory function was honored by the presence of Rev. Fr. Shinu Cherian and Dn. Prajin Pappachen along with Mr. Lalu George (Secretary), Mr. Biji P. John (Treasurer), Sunday School Headmistress Mrs. Rekha Rajesh and parishioners.

OVBS Concludes at St. George Orthodox Church, Jabalpur

St. George Orthodox Church, Jabalpur conducted the OVBS 2025 from September 30 to October 5, 2025. Dn. Koshy Varghese Vaidyan led the sessions, guiding the children through songs and classes with great enthusiasm. The valedictory function of the OVBS was held on October 5, following the Holy Qurbana in Hindi by Rev. Fr. Biju Daniel (Vicar). Rev. Fr. Jose K. Varghese, Vicar of Mar Gregorios Orthodox Church, Hathithal, graced the occasion and felicitated the participants. The program concluded with prayers and expressions of gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the OVBS 2025.

Jittu Jose, a final-year student from Nagpur Seminary. The concluding day began with Holy Qurbana, celebrated by H. G. Alexios Mar Eusebius Metropolitan. The valedictory function was graced by the presence of Very Rev. Thomas Ramban, Rev. Fr. Reji C. Varghese, Rev. Fr. P. S. Varghese, Rev. Fr. Varghese P. Joshua, and Rev. Fr. Subin Daniel.
