Annual Arts & Sports Meet 2025 – MGM Public School Guru Ameri, Bilaspur
Bilaspur: The Annual Arts and Sports Meet of MGM Public School was inaugurated with great enthusiasm and pride in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, respected management, teachers, students, and parents. The programme began with a solemn school assembly, followed by the warm reception of the honourable Chief Guest and invited guests.
The event was graced by H. G. Alexios Mar Eusebius, the Metropolitan of the Calcutta Diocese and the President of MGM Group of Schools, who inaugurated the ceremony. His Grace’s inspiring presence added dignity and encouragement to the occasion, motivating students to strive for excellence in both academics and co-curricular activities. In his inaugural address, His Grace emphasized the importance of holistic education, highlighting how arts nurture creativity and self-expression, while sports instill discipline, leadership, sportsmanship, and perseverance. He encouraged the students to participate with enthusiasm, maintain team spirit, and uphold the values of fairness and respect.
The Principal of MGM Public School extended his heartfelt welcome to the Chief Guest and other dignitaries, appreciating their guidance and continued support. He also commended the relentless efforts of the teachers and organizing committee who worked tirelessly to make the event a grand success.
The inauguration ceremony featured a colourful Welcome Dance, showcasing the artistic talents of the students, followed by the Flag Hoisting and March Past, symbolizing patriotism, unity, and discipline. The entire atmosphere of the school echoed with excitement and joy as students prepared to participate in various sports and artistic competitions throughout the day.
