Bangalore: The Camp for Orthodox Leadership Training (COLT), a spiritual and leadership development program for young Orthodox Christians raised outside Kerala, marked its 35th anniversary with a grand celebration called Masihi Mahotsav. The event took place from January 3-5, 2025, at The Kingโs Meadows, Bangalore, drawing a vibrant mix of alumni, clergy, senior leaders, and enthusiastic Orthodox youth from across India. Organized by Orthodox Nectar for Young Christians and directed by Fr. Dr. Philip Kuruvilla, COLT has been a cornerstone in shaping the future leaders of the Orthodox Christian community for decades. The theme for this yearโs anniversary event, “I will arise and go to my fatherโ (St. Luke 15:18), resonated deeply with the gathering, symbolizing spiritual renewal and commitment to faith. Masihi Mahotsav served not only as a reunion but also as a platform for participants to engage in meaningful discussions, spiritual growth, and fellowship. With interactive sessions and inspiring talks, the event brought together young Orthodox Christians eager to contribute to the future of the Church, while honoring the legacy of COLTโs transformative impact over the years. The milestone celebration highlighted COLTโs continued commitment to empowering young people with the tools necessary for leadership in both spiritual and community settings.
