Bhilai: The Santhome Printing Press was inaugurated at its new facility on 28 August 2025. The dedication ceremony was solemnized by H. G. Alexios Mar Eusebius Metropolitan. The occasion was graced by the presence of Very Rev. Thomas Ramban, Rev. Fr. Raji Eappen (Marthoma Church), Rev. Fr. Jacob Thomas, Rev. Fr. Varghese P. Joshua, Rev. Fr. Joel Mathew, Rev. Fr. Stegin John Mathew, Rev. Sr. Ludia, and Dn. Libin Koshy, along with the printing press and diocesan office staff.
As part of the Birth Centenary Project, the Santhome Printing Press has expanded its facility offering greater space and enhanced infrastructure to accommodate more trainees while also increasing its production capacity to meet growing demands. The Santhome Printing Press aims to launch a certificate program in Digital Printing Technology aimed at underprivileged youth. The program will provide hands-on training and job placement opportunities, empowering participants with employable skills.
