Bhilai : As a part of community service, the MGOCSM St. Thomas College Unit extended their support to the ASHA KIRAN Project of the St. Thomas Mission Bhilai, located in the Shardapara Leprosy Colony, on April 6, 2025. The students, guided by their Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Reji C. Varghese, handed over a significant contribution to Rev. Sr. Grace incharge of the ongoing efforts of the mission by donating two tailoring machines to empower individuals at the colony. The event was graced by the presence of Very Rev. Thomas Ramban, who delivered message of blessing. In addition to the tailoring machines, the MGOCSM students also gifted a tricycle to a specially-abled woman from the Shardapara colony. The ASHA KIRAN PROJECT aims to provide vocational training for the youth and women of Shardapara Leprosy Colony. The project runs both tailoring and computer classes for the needy.
