Bhandara : H. G. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Yulios, Metropolitan of Kunnamkulam Diocese and President of the National Council of Christian Churches in India(NCCI), visited St. Maryโ€™s Orthodox Syrian Church, Bhandara, on February 22nd and 23rd.ย A warm and cordial welcome was extended to His Grace on the evening of the 22nd at 6:30 p.m. at the church. After the evening prayer, His Grace delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing the significance of a dedicated Sunday to commemorate all departed souls.ย On February 23rd, the Sunday morning prayer began at 7:30 a.m., followed by the Holy Qurbana, with His Grace as the chief celebrant. Special remembrance prayers were offered for Sabha Bhasuran Vattasseril Geevarghese Mar Dionysius and His Grace Thomas Mar Makarios. Additionally, prayers for all departed souls were conducted, including incense prayers at the cemetery.
