Nallila: The St. George Orthodox Church (Pilgrim Centre), Nallila, Diocese of Kollam, awarded the prestigious Georgian Award to Mr. Krishna Kumar, Vice Chairman of MinD (Mobility in Dystrophy). The award was presented by Shri. Shafi Parambil (MP, Vadakara), while H.G. Alexios Mar Eusebius Metropolitan presided over the meeting. The award recognized Mr. Kumar’s remarkable contributions in raising awareness, providing education, and developing the skills of people with MD and SMA, empowering them to lead normal lives and promoting their inclusion in society. A person living with Mobility in Dystrophy himself, Krishna Kumar is a motivational speaker and disability rights activist, dedicated to creating an accessible environment and advocating for the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities. The award ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including Shri. Rahul Mamkootathil (MLA, Palakkad), Shri. P.C. Vishnunath (MLA, Kundara) among others.
