𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐓. 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐓. 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘’𝐒 𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐗 𝐂𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐂𝐇, 𝐁𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐀

Bhandara : The St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, Bhandara, celebrated the Feast of St. Mary on 1-2 February, 2025. The celebrations began on the evening of February 1st with the hoisting of the Perunal flag by H. G.Alexios Mar Eusebius Metropolitan. On February 2nd, the morning prayer was followed by the Holy Qurbana and a procession, with the Diocesan Metropolitan as the chief celebrant. A public meeting and the annual day celebrations of the church’s spiritual organizations were also conducted. During the meeting, Mr. Mathew John delivered the welcome address, and Mr. K.T. Kuriakose provided a brief history of the church. The presidential address was delivered by His Grace Alexios Mar Eusebius and the vote of thanks was given by Mr. Sijo V. Mathew. The Sunday School students presented a drama on the legendary King Solomon, while devotional songs were presented by the Sunday School students and members of the Marthamariam Samajam. The feast concluded with the distribution of gifts to Sunday School students and a love feast. The Vicar, Rev. Fr. Dr. P.S. Varghese, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to everyone for their hard work and dedication in ensuring the success of the event.
